| Domain Name |
Your Domain Name is your (or your company's) identity in cyberspace.
In all our web pages and Support pages, when we say "your domain name" we just
mean the name plus the extension, i.e. we mean domain.com, not
http://domain.com/, domain, or www.domain.com. Everywhere
you see "your domain name" or "your_domain" or "domain.com" as an example, you
just use your own domain name. |

| Propagation Delay |
Each domain name is "hosted" on a pair of computers called "nameservers."
These computers are responsible for telling the world where your domain name
points.
When information about your domain name changes, like which web server has
your site, or where your e-mail goes, there is a period of 1 to 3 days when the
information about your domain has not yet reached all the computers of the
world. This is known as "propagation delay."
This means that if you switched mailservers, for instance, for a few days
some mail would still go to the old e-mail account.
Whenever you add or modify a service, there will probably be propagation
delay. It is a normal part of the Internet. Plan accordingly. |

Password |
Your password is necessary for using your e-mail, and uploading and
maintenance of your site. You should not send your password through e-mail
unless it is absolutely necessary.
If you have a standard Business account, your FTP and
mail account use the same password. See
here for information on changing
your password. |

| POP |
POP stands for "Post Office Protocol" and is the method that e-mail
programs, such as Eudora, Netscape Mail, Microsoft Exchange, et cetera, use to
retrieve e-mail.
On our systems you will be assigned a Pop3 account. |

UserID |
Your UserID is how you are identified to our security sensitive
network. Your UserID will be assigned to you. For more info
